The invitation is a document that you require before your visa application. Nevermind which Russian visa you are applying for, you will need to get an invitation beforehand.
Without securing this piece of paper, you won’t be able to enter this country. It can be from a Russian organisation or company, Main Directorate for Migration Affairs from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russian Federation (former FMS). If the invitation is going to be sent to you by a Russian organisation or company, it has to be done on an official application form including all the listed information and most importantly the purpose of your visit. You can see a sample below.
For a typical tourist visa, this invitation can be a copy of the one you received. However, for a business multiple entry visa you will need to send an original invitation along with your visa application. Copy of the invitation is also sufficient for both single and double entry visas. When it comes to these two kinds of visas, we can secure the invitation for both. And we can secure it for you immediately.
But, in case you are interested in the multiple entry business visa and you don’t have previous Russian visas, your invitation can be done, but you will have to wait for a minimum of 25 working days. This is due to the Main Directorate for Migration Affairs of Russia and the processing time of this government body. That is why we suggest you opt for a double entry business visa instead. You will receive the invitation right away and you will only need to wait for a couple of days to have your visa finished.
