Due to the huge outbreak of Coronavirus in China, a lot of things are currently changed or on hold in the world of traveling.
Much tighter travel restrictions, including quarantines, are spreading as worldwide efforts to contain the Coronavirus are increasing.
Known official facts:
-Flights to mainland China have been stopped by all major airlines (read more here)
-Visa applications are still possible and still being processed by Chinese missions
– A virus-like this is considered “force majeure” and is therefore not insured
We feel that it’s important to share awareness about Coronavirus because safety, always, comes first! So please, go through the following information from the World Health Organization website to learn about basic protective measures.

Also, we would like to share a few words about how these safety measures are affecting the process of obtaining a China visa via Viselio. Therefore, here’s our official statement:
“Visa applications for China remain possible over the Viselio website. However, as most flights to mainland China are currently suspended, we do not recommend to apply for travel visas at this time.
In accordance with our Terms and Conditions, Viselio will not be honoring any claims for refunds for visas that have been already issued.
Viselio will be happy to adjust the dates in visa applications for a later date (for free), as long as the visa application has not been yet lodged with the consular authority. Viselio will continue to closely monitor the situation.”
We understand the worry and the unpleasantness of the whole situation, which is why we would like to point out that if you have any questions regarding your China visa, you can reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org
